Day 3
Serengeti National Park

You'll begin your full-day game drive at 6:00 a.m. Today, after a hearty breakfast, you will tour the Serengeti National Park's core region. For its tremendous number of lions and leopards, the iconic Serengeti National Park is the most famous safari destination. The Serengeti's the center area, known as the Seronera area, is one of the park's greatest animal areas. It includes the Seronera River, which offers a key water source to the area and so attracts wildlife that is typical of the majority of Serengeti species. During the migration's off-season, keep an eye out for the several lion prides that flourish in the area. All year, the interactions and survival of these lion prides give a superb game-viewing experience. The full-day game drive, which includes a picnic lunch, will conclude about 5:00 p.m. Dinner and an overnight stay round out the long day.

Best Time to Go

The best time for a safari in Tanzania is during the high season from June to October, when wildlife is easy to spot in dry weather. However, it can be crowded and pricey. The low season, from March to May, has fewer tourists but rainy weather that makes travel harder. The shoulder seasons, like November to mid-December, offer fewer crowds, lower prices, and lush landscapes with occasional rain.
